Who it is for.

If you run a business

You don't have an IT department, and you need someone who picks up, fixes it and explains what happened.

Sound familiar?

  • A new hire waits days for a working laptop.
  • Former staff may still have access to email or files.
  • Passwords live in a spreadsheet.
  • The same problem comes back every month.

If you lead a technology team

Your internal team needs overflow capacity: device enrolment, identity and access, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration, and runbooks that are actually written down.

Sound familiar?

  • Devices are not enrolled in any management platform.
  • MFA is optional, and conditional access is not configured.
  • Onboarding and offboarding depend on one person's memory.
  • There is no asset register, so licences and warranties are guesses.

What changes.

What you can hold the work to, in plain terms.

  1. 01

    Productive on day one.

New starters receive a device that is enrolled, configured and secured before they open the box.

  2. 02

Access that ends when employment ends.

Offboarding revokes accounts, sessions and devices in one documented sequence.

  3. 03

    Fewer repeat tickets.

Recurring issues traced to their cause and fixed at the root, rather than reset again next week.

  4. 04

An estate that is written down.

Devices, licences, accounts and admin rights recorded, so the knowledge belongs to the business and not to one person.

The life of a ticket and a device.

Two lifecycles run side by side: the requests your people raise, and the devices they depend on.

Request lane: raise by email or portal into one queue; triage by impact and urgency; resolve through a consented, logged remote session; record in the ticket and the knowledge base; review recurring causes and fix them at the root. Priorities, with default targets for a first reply from an engineer: P1 business stopped, within 1 hour; P2 a team is blocked, within 4 hours; P3 one person slowed down, within 8 business hours; P4 a request or question, within 24 hours. Device lane: zero-touch enrolment with Windows Autopilot, Intune or Apple Business; hardening with MFA, conditional access, disk encryption and EDR; patching of operating system, apps and firmware on a schedule; retirement with remote wipe, licence reclaimed and the asset record closed.

Fig. 1 How support runs. Priority comes from impact and urgency; the times are default targets for a first reply from an engineer, and the agreement can tighten them.
A new starter's kit prepared on a pale desk: a closed laptop, a phone, a coiled charging cable and earbuds, with an orange cable tie.

What we bring.

The disciplines inside this service, and the detail we work to in each.

  • 01

    Help desk

One email queue, answered by engineers during business hours and, where the agreement includes it, outside them, with every request written down in plain language.

    • Email, Mon–Fri 9:00–17:00 ET
    • Remote sessions, only with your consent
    • Priority set by impact and urgency
    • A plain-language note on every fix
  • 02

    Device management

Laptops and phones enrolled, configured and kept compliant from one console.

    • Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot
    • Jamf or Apple Business for Mac
    • Disk encryption and compliance policies
    • Remote lock and wipe
  • 03

    Identity and access

One identity per person, protected by MFA, with access granted by role rather than by request.

    • Microsoft Entra ID or Google identity
    • MFA and conditional access
    • Single sign-on for business apps
    • Role-based groups and shared mailboxes
  • 04

    Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace

Tenant administration done properly: mail flow, sharing, licensing and retention.

    • Mail flow with DMARC, SPF and DKIM
    • Sharing and external access policies
    • Licence management
    • Backup of mailboxes and files
  • 05

    Endpoint security

The controls that stop the most common attacks, applied to every device.

    • EDR, such as Microsoft Defender for Business
    • Patching for operating systems and apps
    • Local admin rights removed
    • Phishing-resistant sign-in where possible
  • 06

    Onboarding, offboarding and records

The routines that keep a growing team orderly, written as runbooks so they work the same way every time.

    • Onboarding checklist per role
    • Offboarding in one documented sequence
    • Asset and licence register
    • Periodic reviews of admin access
    • A knowledge base of fixes
    • Advice on replacement cycles

How we fit with your team.

Support works when everyone knows who answers what. The arrangement is chosen with you and written into the agreement.

Whichever it is, admin access goes to named engineers with multi-factor authentication, and is removed when the work ends.

How it runs.

Every stage ends with a document you keep and a gate you can check.

  1. 01

    Onboard

Devices, accounts, admin rights and who uses what, written down.

  • Support outside business hours, arranged in the agreement
  • Device enrolment and set-up for new starters
  • Account, email and password problems
  • Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration
  • Remote fixes, with a note of what was changed
  • An asset register, and advice on what to replace and when

Not included

  • Projects such as tenant migrations or office moves, quoted separately so the monthly fee stays predictable

Standards and stack.

The public frameworks we measure the work against, and the platforms we run it on.

Standards we work to

CIS Controls, IG1
Essential cyber hygiene as the baseline for every small team we support.
NIST SP 800-63B
Authentication practice: MFA, no forced rotation, breached-password checks.
DMARC, SPF and DKIM
Mail authentication, so your domain is hard to spoof.
ITIL 4 practices
Incident, request and change management, sized for a small team.

How we choose tools

Certified engineers
AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud and security certifications, held by the engineers who do the work.
Licensed tools only
Every tool comes from an approved list: commercial software under its licence, or open source under a standard licence. Nothing cracked, nothing unlicensed.
Your platform first
Where you already run something that works, we build on it.
Not on the list?
Ask. Engineers who know the fundamentals pick up a new tool quickly, and we will tell you plainly if we have not used it before.

How to start.

A fixed, small first engagement, then the model that fits the rest.

A first engagement

IT environment assessment

A structured look at devices, accounts, email and backups, so the first month of support fixes what matters most.

You receive

  • Inventory of devices, accounts and licences
  • Who has admin access, and who should not
  • Security gaps ranked: MFA, patching, backups, mail
  • A support plan with a quote

What we need from you

  • An admin contact for Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace
  • A list of staff, devices and locations
  • Current vendors, contracts and licences
  • The problems people complain about most

Then, the model that fits

  • Fixed price

Defined projects: a website, an assessment, a migration stage

    One price for that scope

  • Time and materials

Ongoing improvement, support and discovery work

    Billed for the time used

Common questions.

How quickly do you respond?

By default, an engineer replies to a P1 request within 1 hour, P2 within 4 hours, P3 within 8 business hours and P4 within 24 hours; the agreement can tighten these. Targets count to a reply from a person, not an automatic acknowledgement, and outside business hours they apply where the agreement includes after-hours cover.

Can you work alongside our own IT person?

Yes. Many teams use us for overflow, and for projects such as device management or a Microsoft 365 clean-up, while their own staff keep day-to-day ownership.

Do you support Macs as well as Windows?

Yes. Macs are managed through Apple Business and a device management platform, alongside Windows devices in Intune.

What do you install on our devices?

Only tools from our approved list: licensed commercial software, or open source under a standard licence, never cracked or unlicensed. Each one is recorded in your documentation, remote sessions need the user's consent and are logged, and the admin accounts belong to your tenant, not ours.
